Urbanisation Review is a diagnostic report on the urban landscape in Ukraine that links population dynamics with economic dynamics and presents emerging spatial characteristics and trends. It was initiated before the onset of the current conflict in Eastern Ukraine and uses historical data ranging between 1989 and 2013. The Report presents new spatial characteristics and trends and offers a brief overview of demographic development, administrative and legal systems. The analysis presented in the Urbanisation Review covered 458 cities of national, Oblast and Raion significance.
